I believed I was disabled after all my health issues gradually worsened where I was admitted regularly in the hospital every year…where I would stay anywhere from 10 days to a month. When the last 2 hospital stays happened more frequently, I was ready for the change and welcomed it. My quality of life has improved tremendously. I am still evolving and changing. I am calmer now and don’t lash out in anger or fear. .I am living now and have become an active participant in my life.
